HOW IT GOT STARTED

The Full Story

My passion is childhood development.  It always has been.  I had an Undergraduate Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Instruction.

During my 8th year of teaching, I gave birth to my daughter.  And not long after that (17 months to be exact), I had my son.  While I loved being in the school setting and working with children, my heart pulled me to stay home. 

So, here I am. 

Miss Jane has been my release.  My place to share my ideas, thoughts, and (hopefully) helpful knowledge.

Why the name? 

I have many interests. Behavior  Intervention, child-centered learning, minimalism, healthy life habits, and Zero Waste... but, I am far from perfect, and I, like you, am learning every day.  So, Jack of all trades. Master of none.  But you can call me Jane.
