I have been on a hunt for a slime that I can tolerate 🥴 AND we found it! ⁣

⁣

Reasons we love chia seed slime ⁣

1. It’s taste safe 😋 ⁣

2. It’s easy to make 👩🏼‍🍳 ⁣

3. Easy to clean up 🧽 ⁣

4. Can easily be removed from hair, skin, and clothes with water 💦 👏🏼 ⁣

⁣

Recipe 👇🏼 ⁣

- 2 Tablespoons chia seeds⁣

- 1 cup cornstarch (more as needed)⁣

- 1 to 1 ½ cups water⁣

- food coloring is optional ⁣

⁣

1. Mix chia seeds and water in a bowl. Leave in the fridge overnight. ⁣

2. The next day your seeds should be nice and gelatinous. Add a few drops of food coloring if you'd like. ⁣

3. Slowly add corn starch. At some point, it gets easier to knead by hand. ⁣

🌟 If the slime is still very sticky, add more cornstarch (1 Tablespoon at a time and knead between each addition.) If the slime is crumbly and not stretchy, add a teaspoon of water to correct and knead well. 🌟 ⁣

⁣

🌟 Chia seed slime should be kept in the refrigerator when not being used. Should last for at least a week.
