Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Play dough kits are my go to when I want to enjoy a warm cup of coffee ☕️ or if I have a large task I need to get done... I can always count on them to keep the kids occupupied for at least 45 minutes. ️
Yesterday M and I made a new batch of our favorite play dough (see recipe below) and rummaged through out craft closet to find things to accessorize our snowmen ☃️
We included
⛄️ Cookie cutters - circles and snowman (I added a full, all you need, cookie cutter kit)
⛄️ Toothpicks for arms and noses
⛄️ Beads and buttons
⛄️ Small black bead to act as coal pieces (these were actually from a NYE party necklace)
⛄️ @wikistix to act as scarves 🧣
⛄️ Google Eyes 👀
⛄️ Hats cut from card stock 🎩
As always, this activity was a hit! 😃 First the kids made multiple snowmen but then, as usual, G brought cars into the play 🚗. The kids spent another 30+ minutes rolling cars through the play dough to see the different tire tracks the cars leave in the dough. I love when my planned activity continues and turns into an activity created by the kids 👧🏼👦🏼
