While the ice only lasted a day, the kids played with this oobleck for three days, twice a day!

🌟 You can save it by putting a cover in it and storing it in the refrigerator 🌟

I’ve shared before, but oobleck is one of our favorite messy sensory play activities.

Materials:

Cornflour

Waters 💧

Glitter ✨

Food colors 🌈

Ice cube tray 🧊

Droppers (ours are from @Learningreasoucres)

Warm water 💦

Small bowl

Shallow container/tray to hold oobleck

The night before I filled the ice tray with rainbow water and glitter. 🌈 The next morning I filled the trays with 2 cups of cornstarch and placed the ice on top of the cornstarch. I provided the kids the tray, a bowl of warm water, and Learning Resources droppers.

They loved using the droppers to melt the 🌈 rainbow ice 🧊. As the ice melted onto the cornstarch it released the rainbow colors onto the cornstarch and started to create the oobleck! 😃😃
