Name Hunt ♥️

You know an activity is a winner when the kids want to do it over and over even days later. This name hunt has so many perks to it!
♥️ It is SOOO modifiable. With Maeve I did not give her the letters to her first name. She had to find the letters herself and independently put them in correct order. While Graham was presented with all of the letters in his name (since he is 2 and does not know how to spell his name.) I also did not present him with his last name because it is more important that we focus on his first name.
♥️It is fun for all!
♥️ Kids are practicing: letter ID, letter matching, number ID, number matching (you can do the kids’ names, shapes, numbers, letters, sight words, upper and lower case letters, the list goes on and on and on), and fine motor (using tape is hard work)
Materials:
-large paper (see ours in our Amazon Storefront)
-construction paper
-maker
-tape
-heart stencil (optional. I made mine from cardboard so my hearts would be even. Again, optional)
I made a heart stencil from recycled cardboard (optional)
On the large paper trace your hearts ♥️♥️♥️
On construction paper trace just as many hearts and write the letters, numbers, whatever that the kids will be matching.
Cut ✂️ out all the hearts on the construction paper.
Hide them all over the house for the kids to find! I used masking tape to stick them everywhere. Then the kids would come and stick them to the large paper.
