Vertical Painting

Years ago @BusyToddler introduced us to large vertical scenes. 🖼 We make them for all seasons and all holidays. Weather here in the Chicago suburbs has been decent 🤨… so we took it outside.

G painted the lady bug and split 👋🏼 … but Maeve spent some time adding beautiful colors to her spring scene. She did not finish so we moved it inside for her to paint at her leisure. Which she did return to two days later. 👩‍🎨

For the canvas: we used large floor protection paper that is actually used to protect floors when painting. But you can also use a deconstructed box or butcher paper.
